Hi all, I recently purchased a 3900X at a reasonable price and am curious about my AsRock B550M-ITX. I’m wondering if it can handle a minimal overclock or if I should consider undervolting it, possibly both.

Unless you're designing a Mini-ITX system, opting for a larger motherboard isn't advisable—it restricts future expansion and forces heat-producing parts to be in close proximity.

Verify the cost of the B550i Aorus Pro. It seems more suitable for a 3900X and typically doesn’t cost significantly higher. You already have one, so no need to worry about price. Usually, I wouldn’t suggest cheaper boards with Ryzen 9s, but this should be okay.
