Identify the EVGA 600W model, its efficiency rating and power consumption. Inspect the CMOS chip and examine the CPU for any bent pins.

the silver circle looks like a battery. disconnect all external connections and either discharge the jumper or remove the battery for 5-10 minutes. as mentioned. ^.

I’d make sure to test the CPU first before wiping the CMOS if you’re unsure. Also, reposition everything. Updated July 27, 2020 by TofuHaroto

We were annoyed by everything except the CPU, and we wiped the CMOS. Still nothing happened—no post updates. The motherboard light stays orange, and the GPU struggles to spin but halts quickly. Should we check for bent pins or something else?
