They favor Apple heavily, but there are better options out there. Consider purchasing on Steam or checking out GOG for competitive deals. GOG also offers DRM-free games and has some solid sales.

It’s about keeping things simple and straightforward. This is just the usual approach from the team, following what’s been told by leadership.

That's because the Mac App store is selling the ultimate edition, not the standard edition which is what you're pointing to there. But before anyone jumps down my throat, the non discount price is still £57.99 on steam but if the apple version doesn't include the trash DRM and linking to Epic, people might just pay the extra (although I'd still have to buy death stranding directors cut through the app store because steam doesn't have a mac version). Also, I purchased a 1TB external SSD for my home folder because F the apple upgrade tax (plus I only pain £529 for a base model mac mini M4)

Yes, you don’t have to own a high-end Mac to enjoy cyberpunk 2077—it works well on a standard M4 model, though performance might be limited to around 30fps. Also, I believe the person sharing this wouldn’t want to spend money on games with constant ads.

Cyberpunk didn’t rely on MetalFX for upscaling. You achieved smooth 60 FPS on a basic M1 MacBook Air with a 4K display using a stable monitor.
