It didn't happen. We figured it wouldn't work and then we dropped the project. Honestly, I didn't believe a CPU tier list would be useful—it looked fine in theory but I worried it'd create issues. That's why I stopped contributing. It would just spark heated debates among fans on both sides, turning the thread into a waste of time. Having a CPU tier list isn't necessary since many here already offer solid advice on CPUs. In my view, the list is no longer needed and will never return.

@XR6 mentioned they’re not spending much time on forums or Discord these days, which means they can’t focus on new projects right now.

Everyone, it makes sense right now. The current deals seem solid, especially for what you need. I'm thinking about swapping out my old AMD FX 8350 for a new setup, and I don't require top-tier performance. However, I need to handle 4K GoPro footage. The question is whether the Ryzen 5 3600 is sufficient for that task. Besides the higher clock speed, what's the value of the extra $160 compared to the 3600X? Should I go with the 3700X despite the cost?

I’m planning to propose moving this to another subject. It might attract more attention than the current thread.
