Chassis fan without a head cover
Chassis fan without a head cover
Your CPU cooler with a single fan can connect to the other fan header on the motherboard. (The main distinction is just the label; both are adjustable.) If not, you can purchase an adapter for your high-speed fans to fit the chassis fan connectors at the back.
Welcome to the discussions! It's a bit disappointing. I've been using Noctua fans for a long time and they offer 40CM cables which provide sufficient reach from the roof to the bottom headers on my motherboard. A 35CM length is just insufficient. Fortunately, fan extensions are available and perform well. Be careful not to choose a "low noise" model since it includes a resistor in the power line that can reduce fan speeds. This shouldn't impact control much. You could potentially notice some unusual readings on the tach signal if you extend the cables significantly, but it's unlikely.
