I am looking for a docking station that provides charging for my Asus Flow x13 laptop. The device needs 100W of power, but an Asus representative mentioned only those that supply exactly 100W for charging are suitable. I’m puzzled because some listings say "100W power delivery" while others state "charging limited to 87-96W." It seems confusing—shouldn’t a product that mentions 100W power delivery also deliver 100W charging? And why would it claim otherwise? I’d appreciate recommendations for docking stations I’m sure will work with this laptop.

Most docks support 100 watts, but not individual PCs, which is unusual. 100 w docks are quite expensive. See the link for more details.

Please clarify what you mean by "not to PCs." Do you understand it as a limitation where the system won't provide full 100W for your laptop, but instead share the power among USB devices and other peripherals, reducing the amount going to the laptop?

I understand. I didn't locate anything else that I can rely on for that power load.
