I received a fresh M.2 storage, but it seems UEFI is required to boot. My existing setup still uses the old BIOS. I attempted to transfer my previous SSD to the new drive but couldn't access Windows. Repair options didn’t help. Anyone know how to transfer my current Windows installation to this new drive, or should I consider a clean install?

Which Windows release are you running? The article "Converting Windows® Installation from Legacy to UEFI without Data Loss" could be useful.

It looks like you're confirming your request and mentioning Windows 10. That should help! I'll try it out this evening.
