A comprehensive test suite by Kitguru features this useful guide: https://www.kitguru.net/components/cooli...ast/all/1/ It appears the 280mm water cooler isn't ideal for a 64-core CPU. Performance drops by up to 10% compared to other models in the suite, and running at 95°C feels quite hot over time. I suggest opting for a larger 360mm radiator with a big cold plate to fully cover the CPU. I hope your setup can accommodate something like that.

Thank you for your response. My concern is mainly about the RAM module I have. Changing a cooler seems easier than swapping out all the RAM. Maybe I'm mistaken...

The RAM problem isn't there. Both the 3960X and 3990X share the identical memory controller. Plus, the motherboard usually plays a bigger role in memory compatibility than the RAM itself.
