Changes the power output in the differences?
Heyo After Hours of troubleshooting why my PC dosnt boot sudely i reduce the clock speed of my CPU from 3,9ghz to 3,7ghz and the RAM speed to fromm 3000 to 2666 and i works fine (Memtest86+ tested) is it posible that my CPU/RAM dont get enough juice from the PSU? my Asrock 470X SLI has 8+4 ATX power pin but i only use the 8 pins (my PSU dont have that 8+4 cable) is there something else possible ? Ryzen 2600 4x G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000 Asrock 470X Master SLI Cosiar 650x 2x GTX 1080 500GB samsung Pro 1.3 NVME (OS)
Check the issue or imc problem by setting the soc to 1.15 and dram to 1.35, then test with 2933.
I tried it yesterday night, after nine hours of fixing issues I’m finished for today 😊
Alright, looks like I'm at 1.35V with a crash at 2666 2933. The RAM seems to have reset to 1833. Maybe the board isn't built for that spec? 32GB probably wouldn't fit either.
It seems the main issues revolve around your IMC and Interconnect FCLK constraints, which are frequently encountered, particularly in older Zen CPUs such as Zen 1 and Zen 2.
I've heard about it, but I'm glad I finally got 32GB RAM. I was planning upgrades like the 570x and 3900x, though the pandemic made things tough financially.
