Hey, yesterday I uploaded the bios and adjusted it according to the video below. However, I didn’t save the changes before exiting the bios, so I left it without a saved file. Now the PC won’t boot at all—just a black screen and the VGA light stays on. The GPU is connected via three separate 8-pin cables from the PSU to the NVIDIA adapter. I tested it on another working PC, but it didn’t work either. The VGA light remains even after trying other PCIe slots. I also tried using an SSD but still saw the VGA light. The card I used was an Asus GTX 1070 8GB, and I’ve re-seated all cables without fixing anything. It works on another system, but not here. I haven’t reset the CMOS yet; I plan to do that tomorrow since I don’t have this machine right now. From what I’ve noticed, the motherboard has always been problematic—when I tried enabling the resizable bar, the PC wouldn’t post even before Windows. I suspect it might be a faulty board. Tomorrow I’ll get a new Asus motherboard to test.

Computer details:
GIGABYTE Z790 UD Intel core i7 13700 KF no overclocking
Kingston Fury Beast Black 64GB (4x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL 36 XMP 1
MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPRIM 16G Noctua NH-D15 Corsair RM1000e 2x Samsung 980 PRO 2TB
PURE BASE 500DX black Windows 11 22H2 64-bit

I attempted to clear the CMOS but the issue persists, and the PC isn't displaying the VGA light.

Hi, after moving everything to the second PC I realized the problem is with the motherboard. Most parts are working except for a few. When I installed the i7 13700K, it booted into BIOS and showed HDMI signal, but the VGA light stayed on. While changing the CPU, I noticed bent or missing pins. Those weren’t bent or missing when I removed the CPU yesterday, probably because it was hard to see from above. Attached photos are included.

The socket was functioning properly... This doesn't seem to be the problem.
