Many of you noticed my decision to switch from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro. The upgrade process went smoothly, but I opted for a clean install. I’m cautious about extra files on my main drive and have always doubted Microsoft’s ability to perform a seamless upgrade. After the initial setup, I faced problems updating—some updates would fail, requiring a reboot before they could install. Even after two reboots, the Office 2013 Pro server pack worked eventually. Once everything was updated, I installed WoW and SWTOR. For streaming, I used OBS, but encountered performance issues. Within minutes, SWTOR slowed drastically. Checking my system, I found I was using 14.9GB out of 16GB, with only a few gigabytes left after running SWTOR, Chrome, Spotify, and OBS. After rebooting, the memory dropped to 3GB, leaving about 12GB unused. Running WoW again caused the same slowdown with 12GB in use. Eventually, I rolled back to Windows 8.1 and managed to stream without major problems, using only 5-6GB total. This suggests a possible memory leak from Chrome or OBS, or perhaps my handling of these tasks isn’t ideal.
They will resolve it shortly. This individual also faces the same issue.
Nvidia hasn't announced a verified official release, according to 3DMark, which indicates it's not covered by an official license. It might be better to observe how future developers adopt DX12.
