In short, I upgraded my CPU and the new socket, but the system only sees an old Ubuntu install and a Windows boot manager on the same drive. It also recognizes the USB drive with the latest Windows 10 ISO. The BIOS lists all components as working, yet Windows seems reluctant to recognize the MB swap. I’m worried about losing data and want a solution that preserves everything.
