I see what you're aiming for. The issue likely stems from inconsistency—sometimes it works, other times it fails. That’s why it feels unpredictable. I noticed it often triggers a 'wrong' state, and Windows either restores it or corrupts it. This behavior was also something I wanted to improve, which is why adding this would be ideal.

It's odd how my Steam client stays open while the explorer window seems to pile up automatically when I switch windows—like Windows VISTA. I’m surprised this isn’t the usual setting, but it definitely works for me. What’s your "lock windows in place" app doing?
