The Windows font directory appears damaged. A fresh installation might be the optimal solution.

I received a false alert. After updating to .NET Framework and restarting, everything is working properly. Appreciate your response!

I didn’t realize such an issue existed, but I’m relieved you fixed it. Those MS updates used to be a big deal now. I’m looking forward to the April or May update. It seems the OS improves every six months, with significant releases.

Wouldn't it be nice if all things in computers and life could be fixed by restarting?

You deleted the font driver for fontdrvhost.exe, or it stopped working. Restart your computer. This file manages fonts in Windows. Without it, many applications won’t display text properly.
