Hello Community
😊
My gaming mouse for the day is the Cherry - Gentix Corded, but it stopped working yesterday. My backup is the Cherry - Gentix 4K. The issue is that even though they look and feel similar, their differences—especially in weight—make a big impact. Until my order arrives (3-7 days), I’m stuck using this less-than-ideal mouse. The main problem is the 1000 dpi on the Corded model versus the 800, 1200, 2400 and 3600 dpi options for the 4K. All these factors, even after adjusting with a dpi calculator or converter, leave my gameplay and muscle memory feeling really bad. To reduce this, I’d prefer to set the dpi to 1000. Since the 4K supports much higher resolutions, I’m curious if there’s a way to change or simulate the dpi on it—without affecting the cursor in Windows 10, which uses raw input without acceleration. The Cherry Utility Software can’t recognize the mouse, and the only other Cherry-related feature is setting up macros, which isn’t what I need. Is there any software that could adjust or mimic the dpi for my Gentix 4K?

Many games have mouse sensitivity slider, so, adjust the responsiveness (DPI) from there.
If game doesn't have sensitivity slider, then there isn't nothing to do. Especially since the dedicated software this brand has, doesn't recognize the mouse. And it looks like the DPI profiles it has, are built-in, which can be changed only via proper button on mouse.
