Hello! The blue screen on your Alienware R3 15 with the message "Kernel data inpage error" likely points to a memory seating problem. After replacing all RAM and M.2 drives, cleaning the board thoroughly, and swapping the two 8GB DDR4 SODIMM modules, the issue resolved, it suggests an improper installation rather than a hardware failure. It’s probably safe to get another set of SODIMMs just in case.

You're assuming the previous BSOD was likely a software problem rather than hardware. The first memory reset probably misaligned the RAM, triggering the error code during boot, while the second reset resolved that issue. If everything is functioning now, replacing the RAM isn't necessary. Continued blue screens would prompt further action. Which TM5 version were you using? Different configurations vary in stress levels and reliability.

It seems possible, though I’ll keep an eye out for further mistakes. I see some discussions online about a blue screen code that could indicate an OS drive failure, but based on what I’ve had, my Samsung 970 EVO has only been lightly used and hasn’t shown much writing activity recently.

Extreme1 Anta777 seems like a solid setup, which gives me confidence it should work. I note that a few years back there was a defective batch of 970 Evo Plus units, possibly explaining the issue. I’m leaning toward treating this as an isolated problem rather than a recurring one, and I’d avoid swapping parts just yet.
