I've experienced stuttering and frame rate drops. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5700G, GTX 1650 SUPER, MSI B550M PRO VDH with Wi-Fi, 16GB Corsair RAM at 3200MHz, and a Corsair CV550 PSU. I use a 1TB M.2 SSD (Intel 660p, 551GB free space). I've tried several fixes: disabling the IGPU in BIOS, using DDU for Nvidia drivers, downloading chipset software, reseating RAM and GPU, setting optimized defaults in BIOS, and reinstalling Windows. My temperatures are normal (65-70°C). I haven't updated the BIOS yet, but it's version 7C95v2A. Updating might help, though I'm not sure. Let me know if you can assist. Thanks!

Initial test looks good—verify if your RAM's specific SKU appears on the Qualified Vendor List for your board. Being unaware caused several months of problems. It turned out the RAM wasn't approved, which delayed fixes. After switching to a recommended kit, the issues are resolved and the machine operates smoothly with improved performance.

Simple games, top settings, I’m seeing over 60 FPS on everything. The only hiccups are occasional stutters. Firefox and Discord are still running smoothly.

I've noticed many discussions about Ryzen processors paired with Corsair RAM that sometimes experience crashes. It seems the RAM type matters—single-rank versus dual-rank configurations can cause problems. The kits I used before had similar issues regardless of whether they were single or dual-rank, without any clear model differences. For certain configurations, this difference really does matter. While I'm not claiming it's your problem, these hints suggest it could be worth considering. Personally, my earlier setup worked well for a couple of weeks before failing, even though it performed normally at first.

I might consider switching to another setup, since it's strange I had no stutters before installing the GPU.

I haven't identified any major problem, but I also observed the Intel 660p isn't listed in the QVL for that board. It's possible the 1650 and M.2 are competing for PCIe lanes, which could lead to instability, even though the 1650 likely doesn't require many lanes. Here are a couple of alternative ideas.

It might be the SSD because I experience frequent stutters in TF2, and the game constantly writes and reads from the drive.
