Challenge of Connectivity: Separating 9th Floor Units While Keeping 2nd Floor Access Online
Hello everyone. I'm tackling a networking puzzle that needs your assistance. The setup includes a PC, NVR, two private cameras, and an internet router on the 9th floor. On the 2nd floor, I've installed an access point and a smart switch, both relying on the 9th-floor router for internet. The ground floor has a main switch linking all cameras. My aim is to separate the 9th-floor cameras and internet from the main switch, while keeping the 2nd-floor access point connected. The challenge is limited to one cable from the 9th floor to the 2nd floor. My goal is to link my NVR to the main switch and the access point to a shared router that distributes internet to the 2nd floor, all without direct connections between the isolated zones.
