Recently, I began experiencing this problem yesterday. Initially, I suspected it was isolated to Red Dead 2, but I discovered that it only affects more recent titles like Watch Dogs 2 and Red Dead 2. Each time I attempt to close these games, my entire computer locks up, and the hard drive seems to rapidly spin. I tested it with an older game, Mafia 2, and that one functions without the issue. I've attempted various methods including alt+tab, alt+f4, and other troubleshooting steps, but nothing has resolved it. I’m forced to power down the computer completely. The only solution I’ve found is to exit through windowed mode by using alt+enter. Could you please assist me?
