I recently assembled my PC using fresh components and have managed to run most games, including titles like Star Citizen and Destiny 2. However, whenever I start BF2042 or Elden Ring, the system just powers off without any warning. No one seems to know why this happens specifically with those two games. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600X, RX 6600XT, MSI B450 Tomahawk EVGA 600W PSU, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD.

When you restart, the event viewer displays entries for administrative actions both prior to and following the unexpected shutdown. These logs likely indicate a power supply (PSU) problem.
