I'd skip the USB setup. Just use ISO files and a virtual drive like Daemon Tools or Virtual CloneDrive. Keep all your ISOs in one folder for easy mounting when needed. This method supports most older games, including BF2 before patch 1.4. You can also use USB, but a 700Mb ISO on a drive larger than a 1TB stick would be inefficient. You can enable auto-run when the USB is connected so specific files on that drive execute automatically. However, each run will target just one file or action per drive. Multiple ISOs can be stored on a single USB.
