The latest patch is causing major issues. I'm using Windows 10 Pro, and the update process interrupted my game session. The computer became very frustrating. I had to restart it after the update began during a CS:GO match. The system started acting oddly, showing strange Vista-like loading bars instead of the Windows wheel. No solution seems to work. Data recovery options are failing, and restoring from backups doesn't help. All Microsoft fixes appear ineffective. I'm having to start fresh.

The latest update was deployed quickly across multiple platforms, and I added it myself on a few devices to prevent future restarts. There were no issues. I understand this might not be what you needed, but it looks like things went against your expectations.

I understand this might seem unusual, but have you considered deleting the drive and checking the Event logs on another computer to uncover what occurred during the failed update? Any details that shed light on the situation could be valuable for others facing similar problems.

I chose to end it because it’s my real personal computer, which I mostly play around with. It’s not unusual for Windows to behave this way a few times each Friday night. I suspect the issue happened while playing CSGO during the forced updates. I haven’t restarted it this morning. I’m not too worried about this PC, just a bit annoyed. I’m considering setting up a completely different build for recording elsewhere. I’ve already contacted my friend and told them about the backup need. I’m hoping they can warn me about the new Windows 10 version that wasn’t fully ready.
