Yes... perhaps? That's a discussion point, but it doesn't cause any real worry. You're not running over 100ft, and even if you were close to the 100m mark, I'd get it. Keystone jacks work fine without a solid core, and monoprice has never caused problems for me.

It's much more challenging to work with stranded cable when using keystone jacks, especially as this is your first wiring project. I want to avoid any mistakes.
