Hello, I understand your question about the HDD wiring. The power connectors for the HDD have both positive and negative terminals. I've never encountered a power or reset button where polarity doesn't matter; it's just forming a connection between the two pins. You can use a screwdriver or a conductive tool to achieve the same result, so the orientation shouldn't affect it.

The on/off and reset switches ignore everything; they just connect the two pins together.
