Hello all. It's one of the recurring issues, having built my first PC today, all new parts CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler : Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard : Asus TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard Memory : Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory Storage : Lexar NM790 w/Heatsink 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Video Card : PNY VERTO OC GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB Video Card Case : be quiet! Dark Base 701 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply : be quiet! Straight Power 12 850 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply OS : Windows 11 Pro 64 Bit Like the title says, the case fans and its in-built RGB function aren't working nor detected on the BIOS (both the RGB and fan speed buttons on the case's front panel not working either) Everything else seems to be working fine so far Also have taken a few steps and measures already. Plus tidbits BIOS version 2613 (updated to this already) All drivers downloaded Tried connecting the MB_SYN port from the fan hub to CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2 separately, neither working. During the building process I adhered to this and this video to make sure that I got all the cables in the right spots The only thing from the case I didn't plug in was the wide SATA cable, not like I'm using a HDD anyways Armory Crate doesn't seem to detect the fans either, all at 0 RPM At the time of writing this post, the GPU fans aren't running (they were on the first boot-up). Temp at 43.5 C. Granted, this is all at basic functioning so I'll try installing a game and running it to see if the fans start running then. Shouldn't make a difference to the case RGB not working though

Consider linking the fans straight to the motherboard.

Those fans are operating, though the other wired connections on the same hub aren't. Likely the issue is with the hub or my configuration for the MB_SYN connection. Edited: Turns out the problem was the SATA cable. All good now—case is settled.
