I verified my BIOS fan settings and everything appears correct. With a 750W platinum EVGA Supernova, I suspect the problem isn’t with the power supply. All case fans are set up in a case using a Corsair fan controller, which has one fan plug on the MOBO. My CPU cooler is an NH-D15, and only its fan is connected to the CPU_FAN port on the MOBO. I’ve changed plugs on the MOBO multiple times but the fans still shut down randomly, pushing the CPU to 80-90 degrees. Once all fans stopped working, restarting the PC resolved the issue—sometimes fans run for a week without stopping, other times they shut down repeatedly daily. I ran benchmarks from 6am to 10pm and couldn’t get the fans to turn off. The next day, during a Lego Star Wars session, the fans also stopped. I’m unsure what to do—should I replace the fans, the MOBO, or is it the PSU?

are you using DC power for your fans instead of PWM? when they stall, inspect the connector and look into monitoring tools like hwinfo to see what speed the motherboard reports. if it's not exceeding 50% at high temperatures, there may be an issue with the fan configuration.

I own three DC-powered case fans and have tested various methods to adjust their settings. I plan to use hwinfo to verify the actual speeds they’re running at.

I've reviewed your BIOS fan curve and confirmed it's within the expected range.

Check if any programs are causing issues—tools like ASUS utilities, MSI Afterburner, SpeedFan, etc., might be affecting performance.
