I’d pick a 3600 and Minecraft isn’t too demanding, so it should be fine

3300x should be fine, the RX 580 encoder works too. If X264 looks choppy, stick with the RX 580 encoder. For 3500, it’s a bit higher but still manageable. The jump to 3600 is roughly an additional 100 units.

The 3500 has fewer threads compared to the 3300x, and the 4/8 ratio versus 6/6 does affect encoding efficiency.

3500 is strong enough, aim for similar performance, secure it at a lower cost. I believe a 3300x will work well for Minecraft, and I’m confident I can handle it on my 3770k.

Yes, it makes sense to consider buying at $150 after the dropback, especially for 3600 units.
