Capped FPS After Overclocking?

I was experimenting with my overclock... I used to get around 30-50 frames before the boost and then a steady 60 afterward. Now I'm not sure why certain games stopped working at 60... I'm really confused about what happened.

Did you increase the GPU's performance or the CPU's speed? If it was the GPU, which software were you utilizing?

I applied Evga Precision to boost my GPU's performance. I increased the CPU's clock speed, but didn't notice any frame rate improvements.

I don't even have that choice to activate it. It seems it's only available in older versions.
