I attempted to switch my case but accidentally damaged some capacitors. I'm having trouble locating the motherboard schematic. The system still functions, though the temperature display is erratic and it sometimes restarts or boots from scratch. It's okay to assume the capacitors are similar in value if they're next to each other.

Many times you can achieve this and it functions well. I've handled it before without issues. I matched the required parts from a scrap board to what I had, soldered them together, and it worked. Currently, I'm using a GTX 970 that received a damaged component (from a Fleabay purchase). I replaced a matching junk board by size and color matching the card images online, and it operated successfully over five years ago. It's still performing excellently today. If you locate a completely identical board—like one marked "Not working/For Parts"—the fix should be straightforward. Just verify the necessary parts are available before purchasing.
