can't restore ram speed to 3200 mhz on a ryzen 2600 with b450 motherboard
I recently added two more RAM sticks (8+8) to reach a total of 32 gigabytes, and everything functioned perfectly. However, recently I began experiencing blue screens and boot loops that eventually stopped after disabling the DOCP profile. The RAM then operated at its base clock speed of 2133 MHz. After several adjustments and using the Dram Ryzen Calculator, I was able to raise it to 2933 MHz, which noticeably improved performance. I updated the BIOS and attempted a complete reset, but it didn’t work.
Values above 2933 may not function reliably with zen +. The imc is a subpart, and adjusting the soc to 1.15 with dram at 1.35 could help. Trying 3000 or 3200 might work, but if that doesn’t, performance impact from 2933 should be minimal.
Not exactly, each era handles a distinct frequency. Zen = 2667 MHz Zen+ = 2933 MHz Zen2 = 3200 MHz Edit: OP's spec is 2600, not 3600...
It seems you managed to run it at 3200MHz, but Zen 2 only supports up to that frequency. I believed 3600MHz was ideal for Zen 2!
