I'm not sure if I'm missing something here. My overclocked 4690k is running on an Asrock Z87 board, and I managed to get it up to 4.4GHz without issues. However, with this C7Z87-OCE board, my G3258 is stuck at the stock speed of 3.2GHz.

I've adjusted the BIOS "Target CPU Turbo Speed" to 4.2GHz, which automatically applies multipliers—I saved the settings, restarted the system, but it still didn't work. I've checked all the available BIOS options to the best of my understanding, and nothing seems off.

What's unusual about this motherboard is that it has physical buttons for overclocking. I'm assuming the manufacturer didn't make those buttons the only way to do it, since they're located near one of my video cards and I can't reach them otherwise.

If anyone has experience with this board and knows what I'm doing wrong, please let me know.

After trying just about every setting, I've concluded the C7Z87-OCE board will not overclock a G3258. Unfortunately, I can find very little info on the web about people using this board, and the few that do aren't using G3258's with it.
I've got the most up to date BIOS, so it seems there's nothing left to try.
