If you're serious about overclocking, you must have the appropriate equipment.
Try the AIDA64 free trial and use the HWinfo monitor to see accurate die and socket temperatures for your setup. Place them on your desktop and perform a stress test in AIDA64 for 10 minutes.
Monitor your temps throughout the test; if you need analysis, capture screenshots at the 10-minute point. Submit your results via a file host—IMIGUR provides the BBurl link.
This will give you everything required for a stable and successful OC.
I’m using Corsair Dominators at 3000Mhz but can’t boot at their rated speed without lowering the CPU to 3.6GHz. It’s a bit disappointing, but I’m hoping you’ll have good luck.
I’ll give it a go now. Thanks for the tips. I managed to reach 2400Mhz with RAM, but that’s about it. I’ll wait until full compatibility is confirmed before aiming for 3200Mhz.
