Hey everyone, this is your first time posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. Here’s what I’m working with:

ASUS H81T R2.0
2 GB 1333 memory
Intel G3258 3.2 unlocked
I’m using the stock cooler, but from what I’ve heard about the processor, it should be okay for a slight speed boost.

In the BIOS it seems straightforward, but whenever I adjust the CPU core ratio, it resets to the default. I’ve also tried using + and - adjustments, but they always cap at 32. I can go lower, but not higher.

This is really confusing. Any advice or help would be super appreciated. Thanks!

The only adjustment possible on a H board is the BCLK, and it's very limited. Beyond that, it can't be significantly overclocked.

Someone else can help you check your understanding. I thought there might be a way around it, but I’m sure you’ll need a Z87 or Z97 chipset board to make changes.
