Can't locate VCore support for i5 2500k with Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
Can't locate VCore support for i5 2500k with Z68 Extreme4 Gen3
i5 2500k with ASRock z68 extreme4 gen3, Corsair H80, 12GB DDR3 Corsair 1333, GTX 970.
I struggle to find my Core CPU voltage anywhere. In BIOS it just shows VCore: N/A.
There are screenshots of five programs failing to detect my VCore.
I need guidance to properly overclock, but without knowing my VCore it’s very hard.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have the latest BIOS/UEFI (2.30).
The VID is what Intel rates the chip at for stock speed. It's what your motherboard uses to know what core voltage to set. It's pretty much the stock voltage of the chip.
Vcore and core Voltage are the same thing and are the actual voltage the chip is receiving.
I would guess that since you don't currently have an overclock going, there is no change to the voltage from stock and thus it isn't being measured.
