I used an AMD Ryzen 2700 with HyperX Fury RAM, 16 GB of it running at 2400 MHz. I also set my graphics card, the Rtx 2060, to OC mode and tweaked the speed from 3000 MHz down to 3800 MHz using a Super Corsair V650 case. The motherboard is an MSI A320M A Pro Max. I tried turning up the CPU clock in my BIOS settings, setting it to 4100 MHz and lowering the voltage to 1.375 volts before restarting my computer. After that reboot, my CPU limit stayed at 3300 MHz instead of going higher. In Task Manager, the base clock shows 4100 MHz even though I set it lower in BIOS. If you need help or more info, just let me know because I'm still a beginner at overclocking.

Why don't you pick a B450 chip? They said overclocking isn't okay with the A320 chip.

Why don't you try a B450 chip? The 320 series didn't have overclocking built-in.

But what if I want to tweak my CPU speed by hand?

Even though your computer has a switch to boost speed, your BIOS says it works. But when I turn it on, nothing happens because the board doesn't actually allow that feature.

try checking your temperatures to be sure you aren't getting stuck on a limit
