I know there are tons of posts like this, but after checking them all, I still don't have a fix for my problem. Here is what my computer has: Windows 10 Home (64-bit), an NVIDIA GTX 1070 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with 8 cores, a Mobo from Asus called ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING, and 16GB of RAM. I can't install Realtek audio drivers because without them I don't have speakers connected to my PC. Back when I had this setup, the drivers were there sometimes, but now they are gone forever. I bought a Logitech wireless headset years ago and use it mostly for music or calls; it works fine since that headset comes with its own software. At some point (I can't tell you exactly when because I mainly rely on my headset), my Realtek drivers just stopped working. Now, I can't get them to work again. I tried going through the official Realtek website and also Asus's website, but nothing changed. I even ran the setup program, restarted my computer, and it still did not fix anything. I've tried installing the drivers directly from Device Manager, but every time I try that, my PC crashes with a blue screen error. Anyone have any tips on how to get this working? Or is there another way around Realtek? Thanks so much! PS: don't let my name scare you away. My graphics card (GTX 1070) is actually fine now.

There are two kinds of drivers right now for Realtek Audio. The first kind comes with older drivers and an HD Audio manager included. The second way is to download drivers from your motherboard website and then get the manager from Microsoft store. Check out this link if you need help: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-aud...o-...river.html This stuff about how drivers work on Intel has changed since 2018, see this for details: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ation.html The newest versions of both are here: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-audio/13...n-2-a.html I hope they just keep using the old type, because updating those used to be much easier now it is a pain.

There are two kinds of audio drivers for Realtek today. The first kind includes an existing driver plus the HD Audio manager. The second kind is something you get by downloading from your motherboard website and then getting the manager from the Microsoft store. That link is here: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-aud...o-...river.html It's about how drivers work on Intel back in 2018 - check this out: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ation.html So now you have access to both types of driver here: https://www.tenforums.com/sound-audio/13...n-2-a.html I wish they used the old type. It was easy back then, but now it's a pain.

Do you have a fix for the Manager app on the Microsoft Store? Every time I hit download, I see this error code: 0x803FB005.

Go back to Device Manager and look at the Open Driver Properties. Click Uninstall and make sure the box says Delete the driver software for this device. If you need a restart, do it now, then try installing the driver again yourself.

There isn't a fix for this, and it seems they don't support it at all. Even if you update your Windows, that problem still happens.

You got any fixes for this? I'm hitting the exact same problem, so what are we talking about now?

You might want to ask a brand new question since there are probably many other people who can help you with this. I usually just fix the drivers when they're working fine. Tell me which computer board you use and that'll make things easier.
