Looking for a faster setup, I’m using Fraps with my current rig. I have an i5-4690K, an ASUS GTX 780, and 8GB RAM. The build looks solid. My monitor is a VG248QE, but I first connected it via HDMI without the ability to adjust the refresh rate in the NVIDIA panel. Later I switched it to dual DVI and set it to 144Hz in the panel, which worked fine. However, in games I consistently see 60fps even when lowering everything. Could be related to Fraps settings or something else?

The game likely runs at a maximum of 60 frames per second, but modifying the files might speed it up; however, this could lead to occasional issues, so I wouldn't suggest it.

Turn off the V sync feature. Your setup is configured for 144Hz in the NVIDIA control panel.

I believe the setting is under "display" rather than "graphics." It seems the game isn't installed locally yet, so I can't confirm for sure. I'll download now and adjust later. EDIT: Just installed, no refresh rate option visible—possibly another NFS title. Could be fixing with .ini changes?
