So I saw the battlefron 4 hour trial on origin. so I though "ive never played battle front 3 before, lets try it" So i down loaded it and love it....for about 4 hours. I loved it so much that i bought it. But now after I bought it, it keeps giving me this error that has something to do with direct x. Heres a pic of the error on startup of the game. I also have a gtx 970 This is extremely frusterating esspesially because the trial worked fine (basically the full game but you can only play for 4 hours) and then I bought it so it starts crashing on start up now....just my luck sorry about the spelling errors btw. Im too mad to actually care about them at this point.

Uninstall the game fully, restart your machine, then reinstall it. The DirectX setup is usually located within the game's folder. This should resolve the issue.

I would consider restoring DirectX initially.

Find the installation directory for DirectX on your game's installation folder. It’s usually located under the game’s main installation path, often within a subfolder named something like "DirectX" or "DirectX Tools." Check the game’s setup files or documentation for exact details.

If reinstalling doesnt help, If you have multiple monitors, try with only 1. Do you have any program that would change the resolution of the game? Like any overlay or something? If so, disable it and see if that helps.
