Hi everyone, I'm trying to push my GPU's overclock further but have hit a wall. The Heaven Benchmark crashes, and I can't raise the core voltage any more. I've checked all the right settings and even modified the config files, but nothing changes. I'm hoping someone can assist me. Thanks!

with nvidia cards you have to perform a bios mod [at your own risk]. check the details on nvidia. examples include the links provided above.

when using NVidia cards, you need to perform a BIOS modification at your own risk. Check the official sources for details. Examples include forums and guides linked above. Just follow the instructions as they are.

junkeymonkey :
there’s a risk involved when using NVidia cards with a BIOS mod, check the details on NVidia.
Here are some useful links:

Regarding your question, there seems to be no straightforward way in afterburner.

I'm not sure about a 10 series setup, but it seems you can tweak the power cap to something like 110%. In the afterburner settings, go to the general tab and scroll through the options. Look for an item called 'unlock voltage control' and enable it. Try applying it and see if it helps. It works on my 900 card, but with the afterburner I can adjust the voltage slider. It seems the game behaves differently on some cards, possibly due to a 'hard capped' setting mentioned earlier.

I'm not sure about a 10 series setup, but it seems you could tweak the power cap to around 110%. In the afterburner settings, go to the general tab and scroll through the options. Look for something called 'unlock voltage control' and enable it. Try it out—maybe it will help. It worked on my 900 card, but with the afterburner I can adjust the voltage slider. It seems the game behaves oddly on some cards, possibly due to a 'hard capped' setting mentioned earlier. Thanks for the advice!

For a standard (mild) adjustment or overclocking, you might try the approach mentioned earlier. As noted on the previous page, the Core Voltage control now relies on the percentage of maximum voltage frequency. Fixed offsets such as +80mV are no longer applicable.
