Hello! I recently attempted to play the CSGO free version. After downloading, I tried joining a casual match but instead of seeing the purchase warning, I received a "you are VAC banned" message. I also tried joining a game with bots, and the same issue occurred. Once I received the ban, I deleted the game, but I could still download it and play on private servers. I’m wondering if there’s a way to remove all my past data without deleting the game from my library, especially since I plan to buy it soon. Maybe a new account would be created then. Sorry for the English—I’m not great with it!

The article discusses VAC restrictions, emphasizing that the restriction remains in effect until your account is permanently closed. You can open a new account, but it will involve buying titles from your old account if you wish to access them. There is no option to restore your current account.

I don't recall, but I saw something about purchasing the game again to restore normal play.

Starting fresh is the rule. Please review the information I provided. Your new account will be linked to the documentation from Valve. Any accounts sharing the same phone number as the offending account during the incident will face a lasting, unchangeable VAC ban on all secured games or servers you own, have owned, or plan to own. The account you’re using now will be completely disabled from secured games until long after everyone is gone.

The real issue is why you cheated. It’s good that people who cheat on Steam face consequences for account reasons, not just game restrictions. You can simply create a new account, purchase the games again, and play with your fresh account. My suggestion is to start over that way.
