I believe that's correct since your PSU is 750W and it was replaced by Cougar, which is great.
it’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow, a bit late to make changes. I might return it and exchange it. If you’re looking for a budget PSU, modular options, and 80 plus compatibility, what would be the best choice?
You absolutely shouldn't cut corners on your PSU - it's the heart of your setup. Based on your location (cost and availability), I highly suggest considering the Corsair RM600X or 650X. One aspect of the system you definitely don't want to compromise on.
But I notice this PSU in some impressive 1000$ gaming PCs. Sadly, many ready-made systems include poor-quality power supplies. This particular one wouldn't be considered suitable for most builders.
