Hi there,
I'm trying to find a straightforward solution to whitelist websites so my elderly mother can only visit trusted sites like YouTube, Facebook, banking, eBay, etc. She often opens random links and isn't very tech-savvy, so I thought limiting her to those platforms might help reduce malware risks while keeping things simple. Thanks for your help.
PS Her device runs Chrome on an ASUS laptop with Windows 11.

I recommend configuring parental controls as though she were a minor, both on her laptop and the network router.
You might also try using the hosts file to restrict her access.
Of course, you can search for "website whitelisting" online.
I discovered several resources, such as:

Other potential ideas may exist.
