It depended on what was available at the moment, considering cooling, build quality, and price. While browsing, I discovered the following options:
Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 for 1600 euros/USD
RTX 5090 starting at 3300 euros/USD, with a wait for the 3k model and the next one at 3600 euros.
I chose the 5080 because it was the best I could find within my budget and offered good cooling and quality. Also, I didn’t want to risk waiting and seeing what would happen if I delayed until restocking.
64 gigabytes of RAM would have exceeded my budget. 64 is sufficient for my needs, and I selected the fastest 64 GB kit I could find without breaking the bank. The same problem existed there as well—waiting too long would have made it unaffordable.
I notice there might be more available than I thought, though. Maybe I overlooked something.
A price of 1000 would be a bit excessive, but I’ll consider your advice.
From my perspective, the main source of fan noise usually comes from air being pushed through the intake of the case. Without strong static pressure from the fans, they can't draw enough air, particularly when dust filters are present—this effect is even greater with ultra-fine dust filters. Generally, higher-quality fans produce more noise as air moves through them. Fans also generate their own sound, but most good fans are sufficiently quiet. The T30s stand out as the top choice for both performance and quiet operation. When selecting a case, it often matters more than the individual fans because of this factor. The optimal case for balanced noise and performance is the Fractal Meshify 3, based on reviews from Gamersnexus.
