I'm looking for a method to run Star Wars Battlefront 2 Classic in two windows within a LAN party setup, similar to a split-screen feature. I found a tutorial for another game that uses this approach but it involves downloading pirated software, which isn't something I'm comfortable with. I'll share the guide link anyway for your reference. Would anyone know how to achieve this? My PC is quite old—2005 games should run fine even with two programs open. Thanks in advance!

This guide

shows a simple way to split screens on a single PC without piracy.
I recall doing something similar before, but I tried using two monitors for the split screen while the game already supported it. In the end, it didn’t add value.

This appears to be an inconvenience, needing two copies of a game for local split-screen use. It would be great if games offered both vertical and horizontal split options, allowing multiple monitors to function independently rather than splitting into one.

That was what I intended. It's feasible, though it would require a customized solution with multiple monitors.

I have a triple configuration. However, if I were to enable local split screen in a racing game, it's likely to remain a horizontal split even if set to dual.
