I've got the following build:
2x CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR3 (4GB)
2x KINGSTON FURY BLUE (4GB)
Gigabyte 970A-D3
PSU: Corsair CS550M
Both are stock 1600, but my motherboard is default 1333. I overclocked the vengeanced to 1600, but with the new parts I can't get them both at that speed. System bios crashes or won't boot.
I'm able to overclock one pair, but not both. Any advice would be appreciated.

The model numbers and their current settings (timings and voltage) are available, though results may vary. Testing might be necessary for accurate information.

I have mixed RAM that I installed at 1600 MHz, but it isn't intended for gaming. It was originally shipped from a Lenovo ThinkCenter built in 2008.

Ieggings :
I have mix matched ram that I installed to 1600 mhz, but it's not intended for gaming. It was factory built in a Lenovo ThinkCenter from 2008.
Corsair has a default speed of 1333Mhz, and with the 970a-d3 bios I can choose a profile (bios detects) so the ram functions at 1600mhz without issues.
Adding the second pair (Kingston) breaks this setup, causing the system to crash. The Kingston units are PnP and automatically set to 1600 without needing any BIOS adjustments.
