Good day, I’m wondering if my power supply will suffice when I overclock my Ryzen. A friend from a nearby store advised me to upgrade it if I plan to overclock the CPU. Could you offer another perspective? My current setup includes:

Amd Ryzen 3 1200 w/ Stock Cooler
MSI B350M Bazooka
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4gb 2400
Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Seasonic M12II 520W
3 Case Fans

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's plenty, really. The assistant is clueless, that's all. You could use a GTX 1080 Ti and it wouldn't matter.

I don't have a clear understanding of the OC settings for the Ryzen 1200 with only the stock cooler. You might want to check the manufacturer's guidelines or forums for more details.

Typically, achieving around 3.7Ghz is common for all Ryzen models with stock coolers.
