Hey everyone ..
I have this old CPU (phenom x3 8600b) and a HP motherboard (3029h). It has a really low clock speed, around 2.3ghz, and lately I've been trying to optimize it but I can't find any option for OC in the BIOS. I downloaded some OC software and all the clock settings are locked. What should I do?

I question the existence of any noticeable overclocking features. If the BIOS lacks an option, software within an operating system won't assist since it's solely intended to alter the BIOS settings.
