Hi guys,
I was wondering if it's possible to push my i7 6700 (non K) to 4.5 GHZ and set the RAM to 2400 MHz using a Gigabyte Z170M-D3H. The BIOS isn't up to date and doesn't support this setting. I also have a Cooler Master 600W PSU.
Other components: GTX 1070, two 8 GB 2400 MHz RAM sticks, one SSD, one 7200RPM HDD, a DVD RW drive, four 12mm coolers, and an Alpenföhn Ben Nevis CPU cooler.
Thanks!

The psu is not important.
Intel does not allow bclk overclocking and has requested motherboard manufacturers who used it to remove the bios updates that made it possible.
Since you seem able to do so, you might want to proceed.
Learn about the topic first because there are many more aspects than just multiplier overclocking.
