Based on these two poor images, the seller seems confused. I’m considering Asus due to the gold circle near the CPU cooler, and maybe the Z97I-Plus, though I’m not sure. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help.

That's 100% an Asus board. Any info on the CPU or socket? Probably LGA 1150

I agree with this. The rear IO layout aligns correctly.

I believe the right choice is this one. Check out the H97M on Amazon.

It's clear from the golden heatsink beneath the socket and the identical IO configuration. You might notice the M.2 port if you look closely. From what I understand, this setup doesn't match any other ASUS motherboards exactly.

It's inside an ITX enclosure, right?

Thanks for the support. My setup is a Haswell Intel Core i5 4430 with 16GB DDR3 RAM. It seems to be a 4/4 configuration, and I’m considering upgrading to 4/8 if it’s worth about $50 more. I’m running light games like Minecraft on Linux and plan to add a GPU later, possibly diving back into neural network research.

Sure thing, the standard price is a good value. I wouldn’t increase it just because of the bonus.

The RAM is currently listed between $28 and $80 on eBay. The CPU is averaging about $30. For HT, the total comes to just $20 plus shipping to the buyer.
