I use Aida64 or Nirsoft's Produkey to show the 25-character Product Key used during installation with a Local Account.
You can find downloads at https://www.aida64.com/downloads and http://www.nirsoft.net/~nirsoft/utils/pr...iewer.html.
To access data from another drive or computer, you must use the Command Line option in Produkey.
"Your information can be viewed for your current operating system or another system by employing command-line options."
Some Nirsoft products may cause false positives in antivirus software, which you can disregard.
I built my own PC using a standard license key. Now I’m trying an older HTPC that’s activated with Windows 10 Pro and linked to my Microsoft account. It used to be a Windows 8 license but was upgraded to Windows 10. Can I still upgrade it to Windows 11? My HTPC doesn’t meet the requirements for Windows 11 either. Additionally, shouldn’t I see my licenses in the Microsoft account when logging in online? Only my Surface Pro 3 and the current mini PC (with an OEM license) appear, while the other devices are just generic "PC" entries without details.
yes, licenses upgraded from win7/8 to win10 are also compatible with win11
